Parents are the most beautiful and valuable God given gifts in our lives. President Bill Clinton established the fourth Sunday in July as the day for the celebration of Parents’ Day. The day is a way to show gratitude, for the time and efforts taken by parents to raise their children. It’s a time to get together and honour parents, and to reflect on the countless sacrifices they have made. BRS Global School, Bidaraguppe celebrated Parents’ Day on 30th July 2022, with enthusiasm in the indoor stadium. Kids of Montessori -1,2 and 3 were happy to come with their parents and to perform during interval time. The programme began with a warm welcome by Mrs. Archana. It was a day filled with loads of fun: There were numerous games, like memory game, sack race, musical chair etc. Snacks were served, group photos were taken and parents gave their feedback. The memorable day ended with a vote of thanks.

The day was an opportunity to show how parents are appreciated Parents support physical and emotional well-being. Children are vulnerable and require love and support. Family is the fundamental unit of a society and parents and children are the pillars of it. Parents are a child’s ideal. They play an important role in the development of a child, by directing them to become a mature and responsible citizen. Parents are a teacher, well-wisher, mentor, role-model and protector to their children. Hats off to parents for their unconditional love and hard work. Let’s never take for granted how we have been blessed.
