On July 4 2024, BRS Global School, ranked among the best CBSE schools in Sarjapur Road, celebrated Doctors’ Day with a heartfelt tribute to medical professionals who dedicate their lives to healing and caring for others and who serve our community tirelessly. The event aimed to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of doctors in promoting health and well-being. The highlight of the celebration was the presence of three esteemed guest doctors who graciously shared their experiences and insights with the students. Each doctor represented a different medical speciality, offering diverse perspectives of their respective fields.
Dr. Sharma highlighted the challenges and rewards of her role as a gynecologist. She discussed women’s health issues, reproductive health, and the significance of early detection in preventing gynecological diseases. Dr. Patel also addressed questions regarding women’s health concerns and encouraged students to prioritize their health. Two interactive sessions were organised for the girls and boys separately on the topic Menstrual Hygiene and Health & Stress Management. The doctor focused on goals, mental health, time management, social life and exercise.
Dr. Swagata Mondal spoke passionately about her experiences in paediatric care, sharing touching stories of patient care and emphasizing the importance of child health and development. She discussed common paediatric illnesses, preventive measures, and the joys of working with young patients.
Dr. Hiranmayi Seshu focused on the role of technology in modern medicine. She discussed community health initiatives and answered questions from students about maintaining a healthy as well as stress free lifestyle. This session brought hope to the students dealing with less attention, health and stress. It was a great session.
