BRS Global School, ranked among the best CBSE schools in Sarjapur Road, conducted an informative seminar on cyber security on 30/08/2024. The seminar aimed at enhancing the students’ understanding of digital safety and best practices for online behaviour. The main objective of the seminar was to educate students about the various aspects of cyber security, including the types of cyber threats, preventive measures, and the importance of maintaining digital privacy.

The faculty enlightened the students with various ways of cyber attacks like malwares, cyber bullying, social engineering, phishing etc. that are major threats for our privacy and safety. The students were taught about various preventive measures that can be adapted to protect ourselves from cyber attacks like installing antivirus, using proper passwords etc. The session was also informative regarding the steps that can be adopted by the victims and the acts and laws that are aimed to fight these crimes.

The session reminded the students to be vigilant while using the internet and social media and also warned them of the legal age to open social media accounts. It was an eye opener wherein the students understood how the technology can be harmful for our privacy and financial safety if not approached with great care.

The cyber security seminar provided the students with the essential knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely. It emphasized the importance of vigilance and proactive measures in protecting personal information online.
