The Montessori–2 students conducted a special assembly to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights. The programme began with the chanting of shlokas, spreading peace and positivity all around. A beautiful quote about Diwali was shared — “Let’s celebrate the sound of laughter, the glow of positivity and the warmth of love”.
Then gave a short introduction about Diwali, explaining that it marks the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya and signifies the victory of good over evil. They also shared new words related to Diwali like “diyas.”
Colourful slogans such as “Say no to crackers, yes to light and laughter!” and “Celebrate Diwali with love and care!” added to the message of eco-friendly celebration. The highlight of the event was a lively dance performance where the children danced gracefully to festive songs, filling the stage with joy and energy.
