ENTREPRENEURSHIP SESSION BY Ms.VICTORIA D’sa, a Business Specialist 

A Master’s in Psychology with an experience of 18 years in international Business, Business Strategies & International Relations.

She is a certifies Psychologist with 10 years of start – up experience.

Victoria carries diverse experience in business consulting and providing business strategies for scaling, business expansion in the segment like Fintech, Edtech, Education, Fashion, textile and hospitality. Travelling around 23 countries, known in 9 languages, with her diverse experience she got an opportunity to visit universities like LBS, Manahem, Copenhagen, Kiel University, Grenoble, Insead, Zurich, European Business, Goethe Institute, University of Dubai, DAAD to establish collaborations with Indian Institutions. Worked closely with the Scottish Qualification Authority for Dual Degree programs. Her experience includes designing certificate programs, one day workshops, International Master Classes, Conferences for the institutions, Global Summits. Her broad experience goes into bringing International University experts to Indian Institutions for international collaborations.

She has been successful in establishing internationalisation within the campuses for more than 250+ institutions in India. Conducted 1500+ seminars, webinars and workshops on various topics, like Social Anxiety, Financial Literacy, Higher Education Abroad, Mental Fitness, Psychology, Lateral

Thinking, start-up ecosystem, building future leaders, Design Thinking, Importance of Innovation.

Apart from this her interest lies in career guidance, stress and depression counselling for the young

 adults. She is a member of Federation of International Students Association, ICCR, Indo- German Chamber of Commerce, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and part of an NGO saviours of souls.

Right now working as a Business Specialist encourages young adults to become a leader and inspiring aspiring entrepreneurs for start-ups, aligning with the mission of EIMR.

Our Grade 11 & 12 students were fortunate to attend the session by Ms.Victoria Dsa on the 3rd of November, 2025

 Introduction of the session:

  • Speaker stressed:Building a strong foundation, understanding the market authentication before scaling.

  • The presentation commenced by defining innovation as the process of creating new ideas, products or services that provide value to customers and solve existing problems. Innovation is a corner stone of entrepreneurship, driving growth and competitiveness in the business world.

Key Characteristics of successful Entrepreneurs:

The speaker highlighted two crucial characteristics of successful entrepreneurs: innovation and risk-taking. Entrepreneurs must possess the ability to come up with novel ideas and solutions, coupled with the willingness to take calculated risks to bring these ideas to fruition.

Funding options for Entrepreneurs:

Various funding options available to entrepreneurs were discussed, including Venture Capital, Angel Investors, Crowdfunding, Bootstrapping, and Grants. Each option was explained in terms of its benefits and potential drawbacks.

Global Entrepreneurship trends:

The speaker highlighted emerging trends in global entrepreneurship, including the rise of emerging markets experiencing new business growth, the increasing emphasis on social impact and corporate social responsibility, and the role of technology in driving digital transformation.

Key challenges faced by Entrepreneurs:

Several challenges entrepreneurs commonly encounter were addressed, including securing funding, navigating competition, maintaining a growth-oriented mindset, and complying with regulations.

Successful Entrepreneur mindset and studies:

The core qualities of an entrepreneurial mindset were explored, including creativity, risk-taking, adaptability, and persistence. These qualities collectively enable entrepreneurs to navigate uncertainties and capitalize on opportunities.

Creating a tagline and identifying competitors:

Attendees were tasked with selecting a product and creating a compelling tagline while identifying potential competitors, demonstrating the importance of differentiation and understanding the competitive landscape

Conclusion and future of Entrepreneurship:

The presentation concluded with a discussion on the future of entrepreneurship, emphasizing the role of youthful energy, a forward-looking outlook, and a connected world in shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Ms.Victoria D’sa ‘s presentation provided valuable insights into the process of converting innovation into successful startups. Attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of key concepts, challenges, trends, and qualities that define entrepreneurship in today’s dynamic business landscape.
