Capacity Building – addressing academic, behavioural, and digital safety challenges
. The session aimed to equip teachers with skills to create safe and inclusive classrooms, address diverse student needs, manage behaviour, and promote empathy and collaboration.
Activities included Role Play and Discussion Forums, where teachers practised handling situations like interruptions, exclusion, or conflicts, and Case Study Analysis – Turning Classroom Challenges into Opportunities for Growth, where they explored solutions for students struggling academically or socially.
Sessions on Digital Safety, Managing Classroom Behaviour, and Bridging Academic Gaps provided practical strategies, such as teaching responsible online behaviour, keeping students focused, and using small-group lessons or learning apps. These activities helped teachers create supportive and inclusive classroom environments
Participant feedback
Teachers gave very positive feedback, sharing that the session was informative, practical, and engaging. They found the Role Play and Case Study Analysis activities especially helpful in addressing classroom behaviour and understanding students’ needs more effectively. The discussions on Digital Safety and Bridging Academic Gaps provided useful insights they could apply in daily teaching. Teachers also appreciated the counsellor’s interactive style, real-life examples, and supportive guidance, which made the learning process enjoyable.
