“OUR KANNADA IS OUR PRIDE “ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ“
Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated with great enthusiasm at BRS Global School, Kasavanahalli on the 1st of November,2025.On the bright & sunny morning, we had the flag hoisting ceremony in the school campus, after which the naada geethe was sung by the teachers.
The Principal of the BRS Global School, Dr. Sangeetha Ballal & the staff coordinator presided over the event.
The program began with the welcoming of the guests & by offering flowers to Kannadambe, as a mark of respect. This was followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, which signified the beginning of the event. After this, the state anthem was played. Principal of the school Dr.Sangeetha Ballal spoke about, the unification of Karnataka state, the need to remember who worked tirelessly for the unification Karnataka state. She added how Kannada as a language provides experiences and the significance of it as a highly structured language, while also stressing on how students must apply themselves in this beautiful language, how we can possibly contribute to its development and the necessity of language and society in education.
Students showcased their talent and exhibited their love for their beloved state Karnataka by enthusiastically participating in spectacular dance performances & singing that displayed knowledge of Kannada literature, history.
The event generated a sense of pride in the minds of the audience, for bringing part of a culture that is so rich and vibrant.
The program ended with a vote of thanks.
