Guru Purnima is the day to commemorate the importance of Guru, teacher. It was celebrated in BRS Global School, Bidaraguppe on 13th July 2022. Guru is worshiped on this holyday. According to the Hindu calendar, this falls in the month of Ashadha. It is celebrated to mark the birth ceremony of Veda Vyasa, who is the author of the holy book, the Mahabharata.

The programme began with a prayer song

“Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu Guru Devo Maheshwaraha Guru Sackshat Para Brahma Tasmai Sree Gurave Namaha”

Followed by a welcome by Mrs. Geetha.V, who did the anchoring. She gave a warm welcome to the Principal, Mrs. Shailaja.V.K, who is a pillar of support and strength, with a clear vision and passion for excellence. She also extended a hearty welcome to all the parents, teaching and non-teaching staffs and the wonderful children
