In order to implement mathematics practically in real life, students must possess certain skills and competencies. In a bid to promote and evaluate these skills in an exciting way, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organizes the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC). The challenge mainly assesses the ability of students to apply mathematical principles to real-life situations. The learning from students’ performance in the challenge will allow the Board to assist schools and students in enhancing the application of mathematics.
The ARYABHATA GANIT CHALLENGE (AGC) was conducted in two stages.
Students of Grade 8,9 & 10 participated in the first stage conducted on the 18th of September.
Three students : Md.Zaid Zubair & Sudeep G Bhat of Grade 10 & Aradhana of Grade 8 were qualified for the second stage on the 29th of October.
