Date: 5 June 2025
BRS Global School, Kasavanahalli, celebrated World Environment Day on June 5, 2025, with enthusiastic participation, guided by this year’s powerful theme— “Ending Plastic Pollution.” The day served as a platform for students and staff to amplify awareness and inspire change.
The event began with a special morning assembly. Our Principal, Dr.Sangeetha Govind Ballal, urged the students to take a powerful oath enabling them to take thoughtful actions for a cleaner planet. We were also honoured to welcome Ms. Mahima Reddy, a respected member of our school’s management, as the Chief Guest.
Everyone then joined together to take the Green Pledge, vowing to reduce single-use plastics
and embrace eco-friendly habits in everyday life.
Students from various grades staged compelling awareness skits, portraying the consequences of
plastic misuse and the importance of environmental responsibility. Their performances were a
testament to creativity and conviction. A meaningful sapling plantation drive followed, where
the school community planted seeds of hope for a sustainable tomorrow.
A standout moment of the day was when high school students took to the streets outside the campus, forming a dynamic awareness parade. With posters held high and voices united in slogans like “Quit Plastic!” and “Green Today, Greener Tomorrow,” they drew public attention to the cause and inspired the local community to take action. BRS Global School continues to champion environmental consciousness and empower students to be the voice of change. Environment Day 2025 wasn’t
just observed — it was felt, lived, and carried forward
