The purpose of this educational trip was to provide students with experiential learning outside the classroom, enhance their knowledge of aquatic life, and enjoy recreational activities in a natural environment.
The trip commenced at 9:00 AM from the school premises. Upon reaching the aquarium at around 10:00 AM, students were guided through various sections showcasing a wide range of freshwater and marine species. The children were highly engaged and curious, especially when observing exotic fish species and learning about their habitats, food habits, and behavior.
Following the aquarium visit, we proceeded to Cubbon Park. Students enjoyed a guided walk through the park, observing different types of trees and flowers. They also had their lunch in the picnic area, where they interacted with their peers in a relaxed and safe environment
One of the highlights of the trip was the toy train ride around Cubbon Park. The children were extremely excited and enjoyed the scenic ride. It was a delightful experience that added fun and joy to the day.
The students were accompanied by 10 teachers and support staff. All safety protocols were followed, including first-aid readiness and constant headcounts. We are happy to report that the trip was conducted smoothly with no untoward incidents.
The field trip was a great success and received positive feedback from both students and teachers. It was a perfect blend of learning and recreation. We recommend organizing similar educational outings in the future to continue enhancing the students’ holistic development.
