The Montessori wing of BRS Global School, ranked among the best CBSE schools in Sarjapur Road hosted an unique event named SMART GALAXY on 17th February 2024 in the school auditorium. The students of the Tulip Environment of the Montessori wing were proud to present this event with the theme encompassing many aspects of our universe. The very concept of space is a great humbler, for adults and children. It makes us believe we are part of something much larger.

The event was graced by the presence of our honourable secretary Mrs. Bhagya Rajashekar Reddy, respected Principal Mrs. Manjula BV and our beloved Co-Ordinator Mrs. Kavitha C. The school auditorium was decorated with themed board works and balloons. We welcomed everyone with a fun spot at the entrance – The Rocket and Astronaut photo booth. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp with the hands of the eminent dignitaries. Our Principal addressed the gathering with her kind and motivational speech.

We started with an introduction to our theme and our special hosts for the day were T. Sesha Simha Vyass and Avyaya Shambhu from Montessori 3B. The goal was to fan the ‘spark’ of interest that the children might have about space, and turn it into a raging wildfire. The students enthusiastically presented the Sun and all the 8 planets through an informative speech. The students put up a colourful display of all the planets, with themed DIY costumes, catchy dialogues and actions. They performed with confidence and ease, which drew widespread appreciation from the parents of the children, who had come to witness the show.

It was then time for the much-awaited event of the day. The mesmerizing dance performances by the girls and boys group was spellbound. The grand finale dance on the victory of Chandrayaan 3 as a tribute to ISRO was proudly presented by our kids which left the audience at awe.

Parents and children embarked on this educational journey together and discovered the marvels of our solar system by discussing the facts through a fun quiz session.
