Description:
“Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving” BRS Global School, Kasavanahalli celebrated Parents’ Day on July 21st, 2023. After an intense preparation finally, the day arrived whereby the Montessori Wing put up a beautiful programme to honour the parents and appreciate their efforts in bringing up their children.
Parents attended the event in large numbers. The occasion was graced by the presence of the school Management, our respected Principal Ms. Manjula BV, our Physical Educators and our beloved Co-ordinators Ms. Kavitha, Ms, Rakhi and Ms. Runa.
The day began by giving a warm welcome to all those who joined the special occasion with a welcome speech by Ms. Shylaja. This was followed by prayers and shlokas recited by the tiny tots of Montessori to invoke God to shower each parent with abundant blessings for a long, happy and healthy life. The theme, “About my papa and my mumma” was befitting the programme. The children expressed how they were truly blessed to be born in an amazing family and to have such lovely parents in their life through their heart touching speeches which is the best gift to give parents. Our young learners also surprised their parents with a group dance by tapping their feet and swaying to the Parents’ Day theme song.
An array of games were planned to make the day more special for the parents and to help the little ones show their gratitude for everything that their parents have done for them. Parents enjoyed the games with bright smiles. Cheering sounds from the gathering filled the entire playground. As the games ended, our dignitaries awarded prizes to the winning individual Parents and children.
The little munchkins were ecstatic to have their parents in their school and played each game as a team. The good times always pass quickly. The games left wonderful memories for all of us. They were so touched and appreciative of this lovely gesture by the school and thanked the school and teachers for arranging this wonderful programme.
The celebration concluded with a thankyou speech by a student on behalf of the class and school. It was a heart-warming celebration, which helped strengthen the bond between the child, parent and the school. The celebration ended on a happy note as they departed with a wide smile on their face and a heart full of gratitude.
Thank you parents for their enthusiastic participation and we are looking forward to seeing them again!
