BRS Global School known for its academic excellence and holistic growth of the students conducted an orientation programme for the parents of Mont1 to Grade 8 on 27/05/23 at BRS Global School in our school auditorium. The enthusiastic parents were assembled to get an insight about the academic year 2023-24.

he Programme commenced with the lightning of the lamp and prayer song followed by the speech by Mrs. Jyothi. The class teachers briefed and acquainted the parents about the text books and various subjects and the subject teachers for the academic year. The Montessori methodology of teaching was illustrated through PPT. The Principal Mrs. N. Shakila warmly welcomed the parents and acquainted the parents about the CBSE policies, school rules and regulations and the assessment patterns. She assured the parents about the child’s holistic growth and development. She insisted on gender sensitivity, the various modules of learning, the various skills and the scholastic and co-scholastic areas. The parents were made aware of the academic calendar, the holidays and the various assessment dates for all classes. They were also reminded of their responsibilities in guiding their children and they were requested to co-operate with the school to enhance the students’ skills and development. She also mentioned about the various competitions and about the scouts and guides which will be introduced this academic year. The parents were trained about the school software.

The parents were given confidence about the safety and security of the child and they were given assurance that all their concerns will be addressed by the Principal. Towards the end of the orientation, there was an interaction session with the parents. Their queries and concerns were answered by the Principal. The programme ended with the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
