Against the backdrop of India’s rich heritage and tradition, there exists a day that shines a spotlight on the country’s scientific prowess and ingenuity. On February 28TH each year, the nation pays tribute to the remarkable achievements of its scientists, acknowledging their pivotal role in driving progress and innovation.

BRS Global School, ranked among the best CBSE schools in Sarjapur Road celebrated “The National Science Day” on 28th February to commemorate the discovery of the ‘Raman Effect’ by one of the renowned Physicist of India- Sir CV Raman. The great personality who brought the honour of being the first noble prize winner in Physics to his motherland. Our respected principal ma’am Mrs Manjula BV enlightened the youngsters mind by imparting the significance of science in their daily life. To awaken their spirit towards science she asked the students some questions about the scattering of light, different spheres of earth, and the wave length of the different colours.

This event became more interactive and indispensable when everybody watched a video representing the successful and laborious journey of C.V Raman and his contribution towards science and the nation.

Students were also rendered certificates for their hard work in the Science EXPO (2023-2024).

The National Science Day memories were locked by some pictures with the winners along with their certificates in hand. This year the theme for National Science Day 2024 is, “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”, emphasizing on the importance of homegrown innovations in India’s scientific progress.

This theme seeks to raise awareness about indigenous technologies that can contribute to the country’s development and well-being. Owing to this disposition in mind, our respected principal ma’am boosted the students to carry their scientific progress or research is a positive way.
