Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna, is a significant festival in India. The Montessori wing of BRS Global School, ranked among the best CBSE schools in Sarjapur Road, celebrated Krishna Janmashtami on 23/08/2024 Friday, followed by the N.S.C. Janmashtami fancy dress competition “The Land of Vrindavan”.

The school premise was decorated with flowers and rangoli. The celebration began with a pooja performed to the idol of Lord Krishna followed by which the students sang devotional songs and Bajans.

The Students participated in the N.S.C competition “The Land of Vrindavan” dressed like Radha and Krishna. Many children took part with great enthusiasm and they also enjoyed dancing to Krishna songs. The students and teachers enjoyed the festive atmosphere learning about the significance of Krishna Janmashtami.

Overall, the Krishna Janmashtami celebration in the school was a wonderful way to educate the students about the Indian culture and traditions while promoting teamwork, creativity and devotion.
