Sports do not build character. They reveal it - Heywood Broun

At BRS, we lay a strong emphasis on sports and physical development. Our sports curriculum is planned and designed for students to develop and enhance skills like strength, speed, endurance, agility, flexibility, control, balance etc. Sports today has also evolved as a form of entertainment and also offers promising careers. Playing in a team helps children to develop many of the social skills they will need for life. Sports teaches them to cooperate, to be less selfish, and to interact with their peer group in a better way. Sports also gives children a sense of belonging. It helps them make new friends and builds their social circle outside school. As their strength, skills, and stamina increase through playing sports, their self-image improves as well.

Following are taught during the regular sports periods:

  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Cricket
  • Tennis

A well-structured annual planner is prepared with the proper assessment to assess the skill development of every student
